Very Travel Books

Then my journals began inspiring others, and that inspired me to go to New York and meet with Algonquin Books. The rest is literary history. I was asked to create a series of travel books that would have the same personal charm as my journals, and so began my new career as an author/illustrator.

At first, I created on the spot illustrated travel journals purely for my own enjoyment.

These endearing small books are entertaining cultural guides and irresistible keepsakes even for the armchair traveler.
